I was born in Liverpool and always had a love of colour and print. Inspired by much time spent in a newspaper printing factory as a child. I graduate from Charmwood Art Centre with distinction after studying pattern design and that year I won the Dillions bookshop student of the year award.
I went on to study BA Hons Printed textile design at the University of Central England. I worked at Oasis Leisure printing fabric for garden furniture then moved on to Garstang High School as an Art Technical Adviser. Also whilst there I gained lots of experience with theatre scenery design. For the last ten years I have voluntarily worked as an active Charity trustee for West End Impact. This includes running an art group and getting involved with arts in the community.
In my spare time I enjoy singing in the ladies choir, spending time with my family, reading and indulging in the other creative love, cookery!
