Contemporary, ceramic wall panels inspired by rhythmical and repetitive patterns in the landscape. Abstract designs are created by utilising inlays of different types of clay. Fine lines are etched directly into the surface. A sparing use of oxides and glaze produces subtle colours and preserves the natural stone-like textures.

The work comprises of ceramic wall panels of different sizes. Individual pieces range from approximately 18 x 25 cm to 39 x 50 cm. I also produce larger pieces to be sold as a series and large panels made up of multiple ceramic tiles. The ceramic is mounted onto wood and ready to hang.

I use different types of stoneware and porcelain clays all high fired in an electric kiln. The finished work is mounted onto 12 mm birch plywood with a metal fixture for hanging.

All my prints are hand produced etchings in limited edition of 10.
