I came to clay from a background of Fine Art and teaching, and loved it the moment l first worked with it. That was 26 years ago, and l have never looked back. I'm proud to call myself a 'potter' and love the idea that someone, somewhere is enjoying using one of my pots daily. I work in stoneware and fire in a lightly reduced gas kiln. The majority of my work is function ware, but in 2013 l staged a solo exhibition at The White Moose gallery in Barnstaple, where l showed an installation of 500 tiny bolws. l continue to make pots for people to use, but have plans for some more sculptural pieces in the future.
