My interest lies in the inner world of dreams and memories.
I aim to capture emotion through photography, using staged tableau, still-life, and recording textural beauty, colour and pattern.
Photomontage helps me elaborate ideas, sparking those elusive thoughts and memories that help give depth and meaning to my work.
I develop my work further using textile techniques, collographs, painting and drawing.
My original training was in Fashion and Textile Design at St. Martins School of Art, London.
Over the last 2 years I have re-engaged with my own work as an artist after spending most of my working life helping others to find their creativity, working as an art teacher and later as Arts & Health Director for the NHS.
I am a member of Peak District Artisans, a collective of professional artists and designer-makers and exhibit regularly with them.

My work is for sale through my website as limited edition giclée prints and originals and I am contactable for commissions.
