Hazel was born in Canterbury in 1965 and graduated from Christ Church University in 1987. She has an Honours Degree in Art and Geography and has painted on commission for over 25 years, regularly showing and selling her work throughout the UK. Hazel has taught Art to GCSE and has worked closely with young children developing their art and craft skills by organising and coordinating a variety of clubs and events.

Hazel enjoys working especially with watercolours and pastels, specialising in pet portraiture, classic vehicles & aircraft, wildlife & nature, landscapes, seascapes and floral art. She works with a wide range of media including oils, acrylics, silks and pencil but enjoys many other crafts including glass painting, card and toy making, graphic design, photography & photo restoration and website design.
