A professional photographer for more than 20 years, I specialise in striking seaside and industrial images, portraits, pigeons and rock stars. I am based in Lancaster in the North West of England.

I have exhibited widely and my most recent book, Pleasureland-Photographs from the English Seaside, is on sale at Waterstone's and via my website.

I am also a qualified lecturer and have worked with schoolchildren and university students through to amateur photographers wanting to improve their skills.

I have my own darkroom and have years of printing experience - in fact at the beginning of my career I worked with Gene Nocon and while there printed photographs for stars including Norman Parkinson and Linda McCartney.
